Hey Ray,
Just wanna let you know how much I enjoyed the show with Ron. He lives not far from me as he said we are nearly neighbors!
What an awesome and rich family history and story. I will be looking at getting into contact with Ron and possibly visiting him when we wind down for the seasons. Thanks for another great show! Hope you and Charlotte are doing well and hope the corn is tasseling well.
God bless, Cody
Thanks so much for listening and the kind words.
I hope all is well with you, yours, and the farm.
How is Eddy doing (I believe that was the bull’s name). I like that guy and Beakers!
So far our crops looks great. Thanks for asking.
Have a blessed day and stay well,
Ray
Thanks for the visit, Ray, and for sharing our family history and story. I am still in awe when I think of living and working on the land that our ancestors tread. One of my favorite memories is of our boys rolling hay and straw bales in rows to be loaded on the flat wagon when they were not big enough to throw bales yet.
Keep up the good work!
Yvonne Learn
This podcast was shared by a coworker at Cargill who takes the feed orders for the Learn farm. I really enjoyed all of the information shared by Ron and John about the Learn family and the farm. I worked for Innovative Dairy Solutions a few years ago and I believe our company did some work on installing the milking equipment in the new dairy facility. At a time when many farms are selling their herds and closing their doors, I hope the Learns have many more years of successful farming.
Just a thank you to everyone who listens to our podcast. We are so blessed to have met Ray and Charlotte and then have the opportunity to tell our story. This has just scratched the surface, so much more we had in mind, but that would take many hours. May our story inspire you to look back at your roots and remember the good times, tempering the challenging times, that you may forge ahead to live your best life now, day by day. After all, you’re laying down the map to your future.
A shout out to Cody and Megan. I had listened to your great story a couple months ago. I knew right away that you had shared your picture from the machinery show with Ray. I just didn’t know you lived so close to us. We would be thrilled if you came to see us. Agriculture is an all encompassing community, intertwined in all things essential.
Also to Nicole, I love our Cargill family, I’m always eager to chat with anyone there.
And yes IDS did install our milking equipment, I’m trying to recall if they mentioned your name.
