Hello Ray,
My name is Gene Werst and you have been kind in the past to answer my questions on your show. I have been listening to you and reading your articles going on 30 years. To say I’m a fan is an understatement. You have given me insight and understanding on how things work so in turn I was able to diagnose and correctly repair all my cars.
My purpose in writing you today was to let you know how much I enjoyed your Christmas show. It has become a holiday tradition for me. I own three cars. All with gear boxes. One of the issues I have had is refilling them after draining the fluid. I have a syringe type fluid dispenser. Which mostly put more fluid on my garage floor then in the gear box. On your show and website you spoke of a product from Mityvac. I went on your website and clicked on the product and found a pleather of products on their website. I found a fluid dispensing system, model number MV6400, which is a clean and efficient dispensing system. I purchased it and used it on my 1989 Firebird Formula.
I am happy to report that not a single drop ended up on my garage floor and the proverbial 10 minute job was a 10 minute job.
I also purchased the stretch belt removal tool. I have yet to use it but knowing that I have it gives me peace of mind.
