What you need to know before you pull up to the pump.
Just finished listening to your podcast on gasoline. I have been reading your columns in HMM since the first issue and am impressed with your wealth of knowledge. I just found this website today and even though I am not a farmer, I do love tinkering with gasoline engines. As usual, I have learned something from you again. Never knew about gasoline density. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
As an aside, when do you find time to run a farm with all of your media projects?
Thanks so much for reading my ramblings in Hemmings Muscle Machines all of those years… and I appreciate you listening to my podcast. If you explore the different sections of my website you will find that 95% pertains to all engines not just farm machines. The engine, electrical system, fuel, etc. does not know what it is in. Check out HMM reader Howie Poulter’s car collection under the COMMUNITY tab, What is in YOUR machinery shed? Please send some images of your toys for me to post. You are correct… life is busy farming, writing and podcasting! Have a blessed day, Ray
